When you say "the accent piece on the bottom will be removed", to what are you referring? Are you getting rid of the stainless weight? Seems like a critical piece of the design language to me so I'm hoping I'm misunderstanding.

It had the Type K logo engraved in the middle of it which you can kind of see in the video.
Just updated the status section of the main post.> I will be working on the next prototype to try and eliminate some of the light-bleed that can be seen from the top.
@granola_bar_enthusiast Do you mean how the lights are segmented? If so, the lighting is deliberately segmented like on the front of KITT from Knight Rider.
would like to bump this up. This is the only keyboard left that I want... any updates on a possible gb or is this dead now?
Updated main post
(26/09/2022) - Prototype #6 is built and is undergoing testing. Assembly is much easier than in previous iterations but there are a couple of QOL tweaks to the PCB and plate that I'd like to make.Firmware has been updated and the indicator LEDs are working well. The way it works is that the first LED is for Caps Lock and the other 2 are layer indicators. We are waiting for some QMK stuff to be implemented to make it more configurable in VIA.I am really happy with the wood wrist-rest. We are exploring options for the PC wrist-rest to find a solution that is more durable.
