Came for the boards, stayed for the artisans
« on: Tue, 28 July 2015, 09:18:47 »
Hey all!
I've made it over here from being a lurker on /r/mk for awhile now- starting to really get into artisans and the like!

Welcome to Geekhack!

Which keyboards have you got?

Which artisans do you like?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Welcome to Geekhack!

Which keyboards have you got?

Which artisans do you like?

Currently have a KBP V60 with blues, Rosewill RK 6000 w/blues and the Vortex PBT caps (daily driver) and a ducky shine mini.

Had and loved the Ducky shine 4, but caught wind of the shine 5 and returned it- been waiting patiently for the 5 ever since. It'll be my daily driver.  I''m kinda collecting artisans for my holiday theme boards- currently working on a Halloween candy corn on my KBP V60. My orange and white blanks and yellow spacebar come in from WASD tomorrow- and XX7 is making a custom candy corn cap for the escape!

EDIT: Rowdy- you know what would look awesome on my Halloween board? That skullmaster cap that is your avatar. :P

Welcome to Geekhack!  I'm a longtime lurker around here but have been trying to be more active as I realize how awesome this community is.  I fell in love with the Artisans as well, but am still trying to obtain my first one :(  been super unlucky in the last 6 brocaps sales.

Hope you enjoy your time here as I have :)

That is a Drunken Skull - one of ClickClack's works.

Or a Candycorn Clack Skull would be nice ...
