Why can't I get the "spoiler" function to work?
« on: Fri, 01 March 2013, 09:34:13 »
I can't get the spoiler function to work.  I want to put photos in a spoiler so they are not obnoxiously large in a post, but it just doesn't work.

Wish I had some gif or quote for this space, but I got nothing

Seems like the spoiler only works for text and it blacks it out until you hover over it...

Also, if you want to do photos right... attach them instead of linking.  We might be able to get the linked images to behave the same way, but not soon.  Lots of other stuff to fix already.

Maybe I'm an idiot, but I couldn't get the attaching to work either. Let me just try here.

And if you look to the right of the file name while attaching there are options for in-lining and all that happy stuff.

shockingly. that attachment code is complete garbage and on the todo list to investigate and ungarbage-ize.

but yah, when possible, attachment makes things a bit easier for bbcode to deal with.
