Don't those belong in the "Post your Toys" thread instead?
Not if they there are Keycaps or Keyboards in the picture.

That looks really great. The blue mods are presumably from PuLsE, but what set are the white alphas from?

Would look killer with a PuLsE blue spacebar...

Yeah mods from PuLse.. Alphas from Nantucket Selectric...

Switch Tuning by Hanshen, on Flickr

Anyone know where/from who to source a modding station like this? Pm me.  Want this beautiful scene in my future.

I believe sprit sold these a year or so ago.

I got mine from taobao, it's usable but the build is not that great
need some refining for it to be perfect, such as leg stand etc

Nice looks TX-75, jelly!

I'm aware that the TX boards are Plate-to-case mount and without additional standoffs in the middle of the bottom case, unlike the current mainstream design of PCB-to-case mount, switch-plate floating on top held by the switches, and with additional standoffs in the middle and along the edge of the bottom case.

How does this Plate-to-case design feel (in terms of flex, sturdiness, sound, etc) compared to the PCB-to-case design?

Every custom I have used has been mounted to the plate, so I may not be the best judge.  But the TX is amazing.  I have the 1800 and it is absolutely my favorite custom from the ones i've used.

Wow, all Plate-to-case mounted, that's a lot of money for each of these customs.
(I'm not talking about switch-to-plate mount, I assume you understand what I mean.)

Took apart a rubber dome yesterday. It's only around £8, but typed better than most ****ty Dell rubber domes. I fancied it looked rather like Topre. 50g to overcome the bump and 28g to let it up.

I had my reservations as well about this type of keyboard design. However, I can say that the board feels extremely solid. There is ZERO flex in the plate/pcb. Even when assembling I knew there wouldn't be a problem. Once you install switches to a plate and solder the PCB, the unit becomes extremely inflexible.

As for sound, I'm extremely happy! There is almost no ping or echoing, even without dampening material. The sounds is superb; just the lovely sound of switches actuating and glorious ABS making contact. Otherwise there is no additional sound production. I believe the thickness of the TX-75 case is to thank for the sound profile. To me it seems like the case is absorbing nearly all of the sound before it is able to make it out of the case.

Overall I'm EXTREMELY impressed with the TX-75 and I would highly encourage anyone to get a TX series board! Kin25 and Yuktsi are wonderful as well, which made the whole experience pleasant.
