Unfortunately engraving is a logistical nightmare haha, we figured it'd be best to leave it blank and if someone wanted to get a custom engraving of it they could!

I'm curious about the choice of ports here. A in and C output seems like a bit of a mixup tbh; C makes plenty of sense for either the input or out put but A for a device input seems fairly odd, especially in the context of people probably needing an A to A ≥3.1 cable for full usage. Perhaps there's something I'm not seeing?

It is Type-C for the board to pc, Type-A for plugging in something to charge, a flash drive, a mouse, etc.

Ok, so maybe it's just me being stupid. But at the same time the way that

is worded sounds to me like the hub connection is through the C port? Leaving the A for the board? IDK, maybe it's just me with that late-night small brain.

The pink and blue colors look amazing. I really like the design however, not the biggest fan of the logo design on the back. I think that a brass(gold) and aquatic blue option would look amazing. Good luck with the GB!

Does e-white stand for egg white? Like the color of the old apple keycaps on AEK's? Or is it a flat pure white?

How does e-coating compare to anodizing? Is it closer to cerakote?

e-coating is like a hybrid coating. It is similar to anodizing but not the same process. It leads to a really nice finish though, hard to explain if you haven't had the chance to see it in person.

Any chance I could get a recommendation? I've got some nice old AEK alps keycaps which are nearly in perfect condition and I'm wondering whether it would look better with an E-Coat White or an Apple Silver M0lly. Think I could get some second opinions?

Man, I think I burned through my budget getting into the LZ Physix GB, so I don’t think I can get a M0lly. :(

I just wanted to post and say that I think this board will be a classic before you know it if it turns out as presented. Really well done design and detail—and distinctive, too. Best of luck with everything. You deserve huge success.

My gut says the e-white but both would look great!

Do I just use regular 1.8 MM LEDs I'd use for the switches for the indicator LEDs? Sorry if that's a dumb question.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone modified the DXF file for the plate to make it fixed layout? Thinking of getting a PC plate cut and just wondering if anyone knows what sort of time investment a change like that would be..

I'm considering adding these LEDs. What's the best way of estimating the required length up from the PCB?

Good question. I've not soldered mine yet, and I am not a soldering pro. I might try to rest the PCB into the case top for soldering so I can slide the LEDs into position and let gravity hold them at the correct length.

If you figure out a good technique let me know!
