xd96 rgb strip underglow

So i was trying to add rgb strip but cant get past 16 (16 on pcb and 16 on strip). You can see last 5 leds doesnt work. It seems with https://kbfirmware.com/ you can add unlimited amount of leds, but its for keyboards with only teensy. on https://config.qmk.fm/#/xd96/LAYOUT_96_ansi i cant find anything about adding more leds. Only configurator it works with is https://kai.tkg.io/ . But on drop down menu choosing leds number max number is 32. Is there any way i can add more ? I tried modifing config.h and create hex file with it, but i cant change RGB number past 16 or brightness level past 50/255. Need help. #RGBeverything

Compiling qmk directly from the source code using a compiler you should be able to configure more leds. They don't bright because they aren't receiving color info. You'll find more info in qmk.fm

Find the config in keybards/xd96 #Num_leds or similar
