I like my backgrounds um... simple.

It reminds me the first 3D renders I did in Real3D as a kid on my A500 :)

Nice. I actually made it when I was 11.

So you made it last week?

Sorry couldn't resist....

Facepalm...

That reminds me been meaning to post my desktop

(Attachment Link)

That's a lot of facepalms, isn't it...

With all the what keyboards should I buy threads sometimes it's necessary.

But new people need help and directions besides I'm still a noob but a good facepalm makes everything better and we can

I have that wallpaper as my phone background. It's earned me a look or two from my friends but they know I like keyboard stuff.

its mostly just frustrating to me that i have such a hard time tweaking infinality to look good when some distros come with it preconfigured and it looks great (kubuntu i miss you already).

Yes. I suffer a lot when installing WM on that account as well. xft fonts usually help very much though, if available.

I don't get why people use meters all the time.  I only use them when I'm overclocking or trying to diagnose a performance issue.

I don't get why people use meters all the time.  I only use them when I'm overclocking or trying to diagnose a performance issue.

I prefer performance metric routines running so if something does go wrong I have an immediate record of what the system was doing.

Rather than waiting until something wrong, turning monitoring on, then trying to duplicate the situation.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
