Has anyone who ordered through mechkeys.ca heard anything about their order yet?

I'm assuming everything is fine, but I haven't heard a peep from them since I placed my order last April. Tried emailing them yesterday but haven't heard back.

Not yet, unfortunately. I emailed/messaged the guys from Dixiemech and he said they'd start shipping the caps out after the Meka mats were done.

Heads up for the handful of you fine folk who ordered the Ergo kit: My order arrived yesterday (from zF)

but the 2U vertical blank was missing

zF was really quick to respond, they’re working on it:

“Seams like the manufacturer forgot to include the 2u blank in the bag. I will ask them for replacement! This might take some time! Please be patient

”

From my own contact with them via that medium, they've received the keysets and will be packaging them for shipping this week.

Sorry peeps. Not much of a GH-er. I have received the sets, confirmed that we were shipped the correct number of every kit and have packed about half of them as of tonight. I am going to grind it out tomorrow and Friday and try to get them all done to try to have them shipped out Friday. These take a bit longer to pack than GMK, as you can image with 18ish kits to sort through. Remember that we do have about 1300 of the 2000+ kits that were ordered, so we are going to take a bit longer to finish than the other proxies, who have much smaller numbers. But we are heavily into it and are working hard to get it all out to everyone.

Also, the missing blank 2u cap has been added to all the ErgoDox kits so they have all been fixed.

We didn't order any extra kits for MOQ reasons, we just dropped to a lower MOQ on some kits. According to the spreadsheet exactly 31 kits were ordered at an MOQ of 25

They're in the process of shipping at the moment. Moridin (two posts up) got his from mykeyboard, at least that's what he said in his reddit post.

In my experience it can take a few days for them/their courier to send out shipping notifications, so yours could even already be en route

I sent them an email about my order 10 days ago – still no response. And I never received any kind of refund for the MOQ either.

Hopefully once they receive the sets and start mailing them out, they'll break their radio silence 😛🙏

I just got the shipping notification from mechkeys today, but I have not received a partial refund at all. Hopefully they'll go out soon.

Curious observation:

XDA Oblique feels much more premium that my GMK WoB set. The keycaps sound better, they appear to be thicker, better made... Quite frankly I don’t know what I paid for getting GMK.

There are extra F and J keys since both homing and non-homing keys were included. If you look closely one should be slightly deeper than the other.

And the extra \|ム key is to cover a split left shift.
