Mailman marked my package with two clacks as delivered online.   Ran to locked mailbox, nothing in it.  See the truck down the street, and see him throwing a bubble mailer back into his truck.  Sprint and catch up.

"Hey, did you forget to put something in Apartment X at Y address?  I got a notification and it isn't there"

"Uh nope, don't know, there wasn't a package for there"

"It should be a bubble mailer.  With insurance.  Kinda like that one there on the dash" *points*

"Oh um... yeah.  Is this your address?"

"...Yes.  Here's my ID, let me have my package."

And that is how I almost got clack-jacked.

PS.  Sorry if this is the wrong thread (ie not clack therapy), but I was pretty stunned to have that happen to a package.  Watch yo clacks!

Yep there's a sect of postal workers who jack clacks.

 Definitely worthwhile info.

Why would he choose your particular package? How strange. Can you talk to his manager and get this dude in trouble? Stealing mail is a felony, isn't it?

Quick followup to the mail-debacle.  I mentioned it to the local post office since it was a replacement mail person and the office is four blocks away.  I didn't want to directly accuse a man of stealing, but I did mention the exchange and mentioned the route that he serviced which they took note of (let's see how useful that is...).  The reason I didn't feel comfortable accusing him of theft was simply because he shouldn't have known there were Clacks in there (they were inside plastic display cases for shipping), but they did sound like small pieces of jewelry or something.  Combine that with the fact they were in a bubble mailer (not from the factory so no marker art, idk if he thought he was poaching some rings off Etsy or something, but I don't think he was expecting it to be keycaps unless he's some sort of Clack-hound.

It was a private sale? Because if it was addressed from 'Elite Keyboards' it would be sorta obvious what was in there...

Yes it was, which is why I was assuming he thought it was jewelry or something.  To be fair I do get a ton of keyboard stuff in to this address and I think someone else in my building is a keyboard nerd (I heard them yelling with excitement about a chocolate mini showing up...), but this was a substitute mailman around the holiday weekend.

Perhaps I should say how common are any single color BS clacks...I know some have sold recently but overall you don't see them very much. Just curious :P

I haven't seen very many BS clacks in general. AFAIK, there's seven colors in the BS flavor:

- Revenge Red
- Ionospheric Blue
- Hack Orange
- Depth Black
- Mr. Friday
- OG Tricolor
- Salute

Seems like Mr. Friday and the original tri-color are the rarest of the bunch. And I think there was only one Salute BS sold over the July 4th 4grabs sale. But I'm not 100% on that.

Should be nine yes? Two that I didn't list that are in Balanar's picture are Hardcore White and Gumrot Green.

Edit: Hm, maybe you're right. Don't know if there's a Depth Black for sure.

Never seen these before

http://deskthority.net/photos-videos-f8/them-wingnuts-t7012.html

I have pictures of those in the OP. I think they're made specifically for DT by ClickClack and you won't get one unless you win a DT award. They handed those out last year as well.

It is an mx adapter of sorts. It's a magnet so you can hang your clacks on your fridge when they're not on your keyboard. Seriously, check out this post and this picture. Apparently it was an experiment that CC tried out but it apparently wasn't that successful.

I was thinking about it this morning and I reckon it would be awesome to see a night owl with transparent gummyrot eyes, would look so sweet with an led behind!
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

The overhaul has begun. I've updated the What are Clacks section to include a more up-to-date and detailed explanation of the different Clack types. I also will now say that I will be transitioning from the mediaWiki to this thread. So I'll be updating the colors here at another time.

Edit: This update is pretty cool too.

Just so few around by the looks of things that no one has seen them. Only ones I have seen are on eth0s's board.
