Long time lurker, first time poster.
Like many of you I used to scrape by on membrane keyboards, constantly replacing them as they repeatedly failed. I thought the Logitech G11 keyboard was finally the perfect keyboard I had been looking for until it proved unable to stand up to a bit of abuse and I had 3 break within half a year. I bought a Das keyboard just for the coolness factor of the blanked keys with no knowledge of what Cherry MX key switches were and upon typing out my first test sentence I was hooked. I then careened through KBC Pok3rs, Ducky Shines, Corsairs, Steelseries keyboards trying out Cherry MX blues, blacks, reds, and browns before settling on clears. I thought that would finally do and I was set.
Until I saw a Happy Hacking Keyboard and just had to have one for its minimalism and aesthetic. Anyway to cut a long story short I'm now hooked on Topre typing and have an HHKB at each workstation in my house.
