I dont like Macs, but this is nice. Just unpractical(as always, Apple) from a upgrade/compatibility standpoint.

Bit-tech.net has a very active case modding/creation community, with some gorgeous cases created over the years.

One that comes to mind is the Chiaroscuro case made by Nick Falzone.

Interesting creations.  I really like the idea of using wood in a case--it's insulating, it's easy to work with, it has a good look to it.  I actually thought about making a network rack out of an old under cabinet unit.  I don't have the time or I would.  I know we've got the spare cabinet around.

The only type of small form factor pcs that are worth building are the steam box types with the pciexpress angle adapter.
The ATX/micro-ATX/mini-ITX standard makes me frustrated. The slim mini-ITX cases have the air-intake for the CPU on one side and the intake for the GPU on the other. I wish the GPUs had the components on the other side!
The alternative to riser-cards would be to use a long riser-cable, but sooo long and susceptible to electrical interference.

Cube cases with horizontal motherboards are ridiculous. I hate them.

It is such a shame that nobody makes BTX motherboards any more. Some high-end workstations have motherboards based on the same principles, but those are custom-made.
I wish PC motherboards were made so that it would be easier to build something resembling a vertical thermal core, similar to the Apple "ash-tray" Mac Pro.

From the workshop I worked in summer, the case is not exactly nice in practice, but hell it's cool, and impressive to the look

This one is epic.  I'd love to get into making a custom PC case and "class" the crap out of my PC.  :D

Yeahhhh, I saw that at I52 last year, it's absolutely nuts.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

I decorate mine with dust and hair. At first glance one might think it's never even been cleaned!

amazing, but my priority is dust proofing them

been using DCMI filters for my corsair 650D, will definitely recommend it if dust proofing is a concern

The NZXT H440 is a beautiful and simplistic case

Not a case per-se, but I really like this wall mounted pc that I remember from a thread in r/buildapc

I could see this being hidden in a media cabinet instead of having a bulky HTPC.

Interesting.  I've always thought about having this guy make a custom case that matches the decor of my dad's study:
