Wow, can't believe I missed out on this! Any chance there's a GB coming soon with another layout, say like 75%? Love your boards LZ!

The form went up today and the IC thread closed. Might be waiting for an official GB approval

I'm in the same boat, waiting to see what happens next before handing over any money to the latest 66% model.

Strange to shut down the interest column yet also no presentation within this section........very strange.........

Sorry to again post my interest for another LZ keyboard BUT he hasn't started another section for his "LZ + ASRH collaboration" keyboard.

Have just placed an order, not knowing what will happen, this is the first time where LZ has completely gone off the reservation,  of course can't get in touch with him.

Sorry to interfere here with the LZ CLS Classic Group Buy area, but what's a desperate LZ collector to do..........   :'( ?

Was worried for nothing, LZ is on Holidays back in South Korea hence he wasn't around to hold my hand.

Suspect when he returns, everything will be updated and sorted.  After all, who are we to push someone to be at our beckoned call 24/7   ;D ?

Just happy he's still around and he hasn't forgotten the LZ CLS Classic TKL nor the up coming LZ x ASRH keyboards.

You are also forgetting that he has been designing and making keyboards for many years, probably one of the most experienced builders in Korea.

It also means that he has access to First Class manufacturers within his country, that makes sure they all meet his dedicated standards.  I was surprised how quickly he built the Ironman Keyboard from scratch and sent it to my address so quickly.

Trust me, when you hand over your money for a completely built keyboard, he always delivers within record time.  Far quicker than most others living elsewhere on this planet.

Does he also offer an assembly service?  I didn't see it when ordering.

He has done it for me numerous times, so I suspect it's there but not officially offered.

Just be nice and ask him and of course pay whatever he demands, after all you are asking for something extra that isn't listed.

For me, I am almost never at home plus spending months soldering each and every switch would push me over the edge of sanity, so I need his FULL service without question here at what ever price he sees fit to apply.  When you're buying an LZ creation never argue or complain about the price.  Always behave like a customer at Seinfeld's Soup Nazi's episode, pay the man, ask what you want then step aside and wait for the delivery.

That way you get a keyboard that most here on Geekhack have dreamed about.

This is interesting. I'm not handy with a soldering iron and the idea of accidentally screwing up a LZ board makes me want to bite off my fingertips.

I have a KMAC 2 PCB around somewhere that's pretty much burned out. I bought it for $10 to show people an example of why you should buy a practice board.

I'm pretty confident in my soldering skills by now.  Thanks for the info tho. I didn't even know it was an option.
To me soldering isn't the hard part. It's the lubing and spring swapping that's a pain in the ass.

This and it feels mandatory with such a high priced board. My fingertips are always like rocks for the week after. Soldering is satisfying, switch modifications are a pain.

Agreed, switch and stab modding consumes at least 80% of build time in every one of my builds. Worth to go the extra mile though since we are talking about some really expensive boards. They all deserve some nice switches to be put on them.

For those who have never received an LZ keyboard before, prepare for the ultimate shock in your lives when it arrives to your front door.

The QUALITY alone is what will bowl you over, the unfortunate thing is that after you get an LZ keyboard everything else just doesn't compare on any level.

Not at all, anyone who owns a Ferrari doesn't sell off his Bentley's, Royce's, Aston Martins, Mercs or BMWs, he simply admires in owning and using that particular model of that Ferrari.  His collection is complete until another model in the future becomes available to own.

I have never sold off anything, something my relatives can't wait to own one day after I pass away but it doesn't stop me from enjoying some of the great pleasures in Life, like owning and using an LZ keyboard  8) .

Remove the 'semi' and get into the "REGULARLY"  ;) .

That is what these keyboards are about, to use each and everyday without remorse or guilt.  After all, you are using something that very people can ever imagine in owning hence it's your duty to enjoy such opulence  :thumb: .
