Title: Triad Hardgoods terminal keyboard

I snagged one of these for free the other day! Pretty sure the top cover is supposed to be blue. Not sure why it's brown. Anyway, these pics are pre cleaning.

The keys are quite thin and brittle. Several sockets on the back have broken apart. Two on the Enter key, one on the numpad Enter, and the No Sale key. That's irritating.

The blank key is two shot molded. Isn't that funny?

I have a space thats 6 and some inches long. Heh, it shares a row with my other doubleshots:) Gotta love me my Zenith.

Well, I just spent about 40 minutes fruitlessly searching for information. Maybe somebody can point me to a thread about repairing broken key(cap)s?

I was in a hurry when I took the pictures. Sorry about the quality, I know it's crap.

Wyse made the PCB.

I don't intend to try using this keyboard as is. I just grabbed it because it was free, and this way I get some extra switches and keys to play with. :)

The pictures no longer are here? But I think I have a few of these, some appear to be NIB!!! They are from a car parts dealer computer from the 80's.

I guess that's not surprising.  I think a few businesses that had their clients connecting to some mainframe in the 80s and 90s often gave out terminals, and sometimes branded them.  I've also seen a DEC VT420 labeled as ADP (as in the payroll accounting firm).  If they are in fact WY-85 keyboards and the layout's not too funky they might be worth something as complete keyboards to businesses who still use dumb terminals.  Beyond that, if they have nice doubleshot keycaps I'm certain people here would want them.  I just hate to see oddball keyboards get torn apart for caps to go on somebody's PS/2 or USB board - I'm still looking for a Cherry G80-1306 for my DEC VT220 since the DEC keyboards that came with those are utter garbage.

On a completely unrelated note I originally read this thread title as "Tryhard terminal keyboard".
