[IC] Rage Quit (Row 5 for ESC or F4, possible Alt key)

I thought it'd be cool to have a Rage Quit key to replace your Esc key. My friend came up with the idea as I was talking about looking for some keycaps to get individually, what do you guys think?

Just a thought, I'd love some different ideas for it.

Rage quiting games is more of a alt f4 procedure for me, When pressing the escape key and quiting via the menu you are not quiting with enough rage imo

Make a row 5 GG key.
Something like that would be fine. Row 5 would work for either escape for f4.

a RAGE QUIT cap would be cool, I'd buy it as a set with alt as well (so it could be used on alt-f4) if it were OEM/Cherry profile. How much does a GMK buy cost for one/two caps? maybe we could do a couple different color profiles (unless that bumps up the MOQ)

I know that the cost for caps that they already have molds for is about $4.
No idea about what it would cost to get a new one.

I like it, but dump the "Press to" and have it just say "Rage Quit". Maybe white on red.

Agreed.  Good thing Esc and F4 are the same row profile.  You could just put the RAGE QUIT cap on your F4 key stem.

Pink stems I believe are Kailh tactile stems. They are slightly more tactile than browns, but less than clears from what I hear.
The coloured tops are on the tip of my tongue, but it is another third party that had a GB here not too long ago.

being new, it would be more difficult to get people to commit than for someone who is established and respected (though there's a first time for everything!) or maybe someone would be willing to take the reigns if there is enough interest. adding a small set into an existing GB may be possible, too.

Maybe he should consider talking to the one guy running a league of legends set through PMK.
A rage quit key would work really well with that. Plus, he doesn't have to do much work at all to make it possible.
