Siemens 'boards?
« on: Wed, 29 April 2009, 05:10:50 »
Anyone familiar with Siemens Nixdorf / Fujitsu Siemens 'boards here? The better ones (e.g. KBPC P2, which at least claims full n-key rollover) seem to enjoy a small following here in Germany. Typical key action seems to be soft linear with soft bottoming out.

Are they all constructed like the KBPC E (the ergo thng) that lowpoly showed pictures of one time?
Hardware in signatures clutters Google search results. There should be a field in the profile for that (again).

This message was probably typed on a vintage G80-3000 with blues. Double-shots, baby. :D

I don't think I've ever seen a Siemens board or even an old Nixdorf board with mechanical switches. Unless contrary evidence pops up I assume they're all rubber domes.
