I was wondering what all the extra pads were on the back of my Pcb.

Well in the center there are pads for the switch and optional pads for an LED for that switch.

On each side there are two small pads next to each other that you can wire in the left and right keyboard, but if you want the 3 keys to be in line, the PCB supports soldering half of the switch in place (the larger pad on the side) and then wiring the other switch lead to the bottom (circle) pad below.
