Hello, Geekhack! We are introducing our 3rd board Z67-YUN to the market, 65%, 67 keys gasket mount keyboard. Inherited by 2 previous projects Z40-Pastry and Z60-Evolve, simplicity aesthetics is in Z67's blood stream. Hidden screw design for the weight and flushed surface between weight and bottom makes the weight rooted in the bottom aesthetically. Vibration insulation foams between every contacting surface absorbs unwanted noises.

Nice clean design. I hope you keep the weight blank, as it's so nice to see a board without italic script on the weight.

Perhaps consider adding a 'any other comments' to the interest check form to capture any other comments people may have on the design.

Looking forward to seeing some pics of the prototype. GLWTIC.

Thank you so much for the appreciation, and yes, logo is only on the inside of the weight, outside stays mirror finish. And thanks for the heads up, "Any other comments" is added in IC form. Sincerely

not a big fan 65%s but i like how you did the bottom, acrylic with brass weight. GLW IC :)

#1 Update's been modified includes:
     1. Dark grey color prototype
     2. Yellow color prototype
     3. Structural change, silicon shoe mounting mechanism is added, case groove was for Poron gasket only, but will include grooves for silicon shoes as well

I do like the rounded design, but that thick acrylic bottom reminds me of the ID87 which sounded terrible

concerned how all that plastic will affect the sound; but hope it's does some good

Hi, thx for the good concern. First of all at the moment, poly-carbonate and aluminum6063 would be our choice for bottom materials. Sound wise, it's affected by so many factors including mounting mechanisms, plate materials, structural cuts, cushioning system and resonating relationship. Z67 is gasket mount mechanism, resonance calculation is done and planned on it, so I should say the sound signature should be quite different, pls stay tuned for the sound test and review

Update#2- Dec12. Molded silicon shoes is done, waiting for the new prototypes with the silicon grooves to arrive.
