Mac Mouse acceleration fix

I've fixed mac mouse acceleration problem. See my post over at TL.net

http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=194668

This enables and _enforces_ perfectly linear mouse ballistics, even in OGL games that try to take over mouse input (such as WoW and SC2).

I'll gladly answer any questions here as well :) Please read the readme first!

The software is 100% free, but I wouldn't mind donations as mentioned in the readme.

Tagged for later -- site's blocked here at work.  OSX's kinda weird acceleration for mice always annoyed the living hell outta me.  Moreso going back and forth between Windows and OSX.

OSX's mouse acceleration is one of the major reasons why I sold my Mac.
Great that someone has fixed it!

Great job man! I know the >125Hz polling problem is a core OS issue but if you solve that you'll be my savior and I'll gladly donate for it! Please post back here for updates!

I'll give this a shot. I'm a music professional and do a lot of Pro Tools stuff in Mac, and the acceleration issue always bugged the crap out of me!

This is nothing new but a packaged installer for a known terminal command scripts. It works quite nice with mice like the Razers with their 3rd party driver.  Don't think it plays well with USBOverdrive as far as my experience go.

Bit of a gravedig, but that's not true at all. It does use that method as a primary method of setting the mouse accel, but there is more to it to deal with games (i.e. when opengl or CG takes over).

Glad somebody has "fixed" the problem for those it bothers, but I honestly cannot tell the difference between using a mouse under Mac OS X, Windows, or Linux. It all feels the same to me.
