I've just realised that the BS one has a much bigger nose than the others :))
Yea! Everything is slightly larger on him. XD

Especially the stem   ;)

sorry I couldn't resist, I'll see myself out

I didn't know sheep had stems

Rams, maybe, but not sheep!

This is more color accurate but the face is washed out. I really need a camera other than my phone.

Well, my Nub caps finally came in (Got kinda scared for a few days because USPS lost our mail a couple days this week, complaint time!)!

And all I can say is WOW. Very high quality caps that feel rock solid. He even threw in one of those rare Topre dollie caps :O, and a nice drawstring carry pouch to protect his caps! Thank you so much Nubbinator!

Here are some pics I took of his excellent work (and where they'll reside). The Manaus was a birthday present to my 'ol man whose B-Day was recent :P! Keeping the Topre Dolly for my personal RF. This was an awesome package to arrive on my B-Day!

I'll edit pictures in later since I have to go showing the boards they are residing on. Gotta show off the caps though NOW! :thumb:

Edit (Here are the other pics :P!):

Yay for things not getting lost in the mail!  That was one of my first Topre Dollies when I was working on figuring out how to make the stem work, hence the ****ed up stem and single color.  Still works though and glad to see it will be getting some use.

And, since you brought it up, happy birthday!

Excellent single colour Dolly, first one I have seen, at least that I can remember.  That it is pink only adds to the appeal :)

Also the green and blue keys on that keyboard go well together.

Nu-uh, not me thank you.  I'd prefer to miss a sale than go through torment and suspense like that.

Suspense, get it? :))

Lovely yellow bag, I believe I have one of those :)

Somehow managed to score my first nub. Logged in just in time to see the sale.

Got a clear dark blue heart (love how it looks w/ white LED).  Also, thanks to nub for the freebie dolly.  Love the colors.  Too bad I don't have a topre keyboard for it.

I was looking for this thread!

Ah well, quadriple post :P

The bag they all came in.

Pontianak Shadow Stalker

The eyes on these are really nice. The glittery eyes a nice touch.
It's hard to capture though because of the insane depth of this key:

Next up is the Deckerson B-Side

Decided that it needed a fitting background. :)

The nice surprises were these

A Topre Fn key in the same colours as the Deckerson.

And a purple Alps Dolly. Guess I will have to test drive it on separate switches first. :P

Oh wow! So much awesomeness today!!!!! Thank you to nubbs for his generosity in making me sooooo happy! He saw the email I posted where CC canceled my Clackvent shipment and wanted to do something nice! He wanted to send me dildo but I said it's illegal here (no, it's a joke, he he he). Anyway this came!

There are so many firsts!!

1. I love Dolly! And this is my first BS Dolly!!! Once Phosphorglow refurb my SSK, it will be the first artisan to put on the SSK!

2. Another Dolly in Alps! OMG! I've rotated Matias Quiet Pro as my daily driver at home and now I have my first ever and ONLY Alps artisan cap!! And it's a Dolly!!!! In fact, it's the first time I took out a alp cap. It was very tight and I had pulled hard. And it felt kinda flimsy. I thought the stem was going to break.

3. And a THIRD CAP! My first Shadow Stalker!!! I totally missed his sale and now I have these beautiful caps!

Thank you, my man!!!!!

<3 <3 <3

(Super quick potato shot as I'm leaving to the airport, just so happened to check my mail and OMG! It's here and the kids are screaming for me to hurry up and I screamed back saying I gotta put it on and take a quick picture!! Typing this in the cab! Ha ha)

Some have seen my ramblings of how I got screwed over by Reptile on here. He should get a FELONY for the amount stolen. Though I doubt anything will happen.
Paypal took my side and I got my funds back. Though it was a very long, stressful, and upsettling time during the entire thing. Now I know why he didn't accept my buddy request too...
Anyways, I don't want any of that rubbish on this thread. I plan to post about it when I get the time. It is the starting point for this post.

Nubs is an amazingly kind friend and sent me these 3 beautiful caps! He also included this Kick ass Kidrobot! My first one! :)

It sits proudly on my desk and reminds me that there are still kind people on this forum.  :)

He also sent a lovely hand written note in purple ink, calligraphy. He has cheered me up tremendously!

Yag Dur, Shadow Stalker, and Function Prototype.

This is a very cool color! Nice pattern on top. Very clean stem. Though it sticks a tad high up, I think a lower stem would be a better fit.

Shadow Stalker w/ Colored Teeth! This guy is awesome! Hes very creepy like the babadook yet cute! :) Awesome design! Fits great too!

Yag Dur w/ .......... Tritium Eyes!!!!!  This keycap is ****ing DOPE! The design is amazing, very clean stem and bottom, the color is amazing.. Pearlescent! So cool to look at it at different angles.. The eyes glow all day and all night, no matter how much light. You only cant see them when you bring it outside. This thing is fricken cool..

Sorry, I haven't mastered dark photos yet with my Nikon. Id love tips on how! These 2 are with my iPhone.

Thanks again, SO much Nubs! I truly appreciate it!

Great caps dustin! I love the colour of that FN and the eyes on that Yag Dur are sweet! I didn't know that Nubbs was using tritium in his caps!

Yay, they arrived!  Glad you like them Dustin.  It always sucks when someone rips someone off, glad I could help make it a little better.

It was an experiment.  I'm not sure I'll do all that many since it adds about $10 in cost to each cap and I have a hard time charging more than $20 a cap.  Each would cost between $25 and $30 for me to make them.

Pretty cool to see once it is implemented into a cap though! I am sure people would be willing to pay a bit extra. :) Can we please see a dolly with tritium?! A purple topre dolly with tritium eyes would be so sweet! :)

Not sure it would work with Dolly as tritium comes in tubes.  Smaller diameter tubes are less bright  I have a Shadow Stalker I did with some smaller tubes and I'm not 100% happy with the glowing.

That Yag Dur is choice! Nice work Nubb.
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done

Stem types? Were they part of a sale or did Nubb just send you them?

The creamsicle is cherry MX. The Orange Translucent are Cherry MX and Topre. One was dibs in a sale. The other two were custom made as a gift.
