I believe it glows in the dark too.  Green or blue caps had a good chance of being GID.

Not yellow ones? :p

I largely stuck with GID colors that matched the color of the cap.  I only have blue/green and green GID powder.

Fair enough :)

Actually I don't think I've seen anything that is yellow and GiD.

Definitely my favorite colorway of the V2s that went out. I'm just blown away by how good these look on all your keyboards  :thumb:

Looking phenomenal Nubbs!  I haven't had a chance, but the V2 is taking over a CC's spot on my keyboard as soon as I get a chance to swap them out.  not sure yet on the FN, but I will definitely put it to use as well.

Nubb's color game is mind blowing, you got some seriously awesome caps.

It is sooooo good.  Easily one of my favorite artisan/keyset pairings.  And it's such a cool cap on top of it.  xD

What switch type is it?  I tested them all on an MX Black and Gateron and none of them had issues when I tried them.  In fact, some of the Dollies were almost too tight.  I can tell you that if it is an issue, a dab of glue or paint in the stem should tighten it up.  I'm just surprised since I remember testing them all and the Dollies being fine.

MX browns.
yeah idk why its happening, because it wasn't like this when i first put it on. The Fn key is tight enough for it stay on the stem, but i can easily pull it off without a tool or any pressure; i assume that to be just how the cap is tho

Nubb has a customer with this issue on a $20 cap: works towards a resolution and shows a desire to make him happy.
Girldc has a customer with this issue on 2 seperate $100 caps: doesn't really give a ****. :/
Props to you for caring Nubbs.

I am liking Dolly V2 a lot more. Putting V2 side by side to V1 made the V1 face so small and miniscule. LOL. The V1 still have a more fun look though and by itself, she stood up quite well.

Nubbs, the V2 on a 60% board - the key tend to rub on the key below it e.g. if I put it on the Esc, it rubs against the Tab. Hopefully you can scale it down slightly for future version.

Great to hear!  I had a lot of fun making the V2.  Definitely something different for me.

And thanks for letting me know.  I can try to adjust the master a little, but we'll see what I can do.  I didn't notice any rubbing on my boards I tried it on, but that's why getting input is always good.

The adventuring into other stems continues.  The mold needs some redoing or some figuring out, their may be some parts that need thickening, and I can't speak of the longevity of it yet, but I'm happy with how things are looking.  A successful 3D printed BS stem that fits with the modular system I made.

Here's the first protocast:

MX (and Novatouch compatible), Topre, Alps, and BS are all planned. I could probably even do a Romer G Dolly, but I'm not sure how the stem would hold up.  I'm sure there will need to be some kinks worked out on the BS since it's a 3D printed stem, but hopefully it will be good to go pretty quickly.

I should also add that the BS Dollies will be 5 shots.  I have to do it that way to reduce seconds and confirm that they'll work.

Was fortunate enough to snag this Champagne Fn Key. One of my first artisans ever!

I really like that second shot.

I'm glad you like it! Thanks so much for the cap man, and the heart palpitations from my very first "first-come first-served" sale :P

Those stems look super clean!

3D printing has definitely come a long way since the last time I had anything to do with it.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

You can still tell it's printed, but yeah, they have come a long way.  The stem has more flex to it than I like, so I'm trying some more adjustments to make it thicker yet still functional.  If that doesn't work, there are some other ideas I have.

Could you make just the top part, and mate it with a standard IBM stem?

Probably not, but I'm trying some things first that should take care of the issues.
