Looks like 5 is the max to really look decent.  Two on the eye, two in the mouth, and then the body.  I was hoping to be able to color the mouth, but I wasn't sold on how it turned out.  Teeth and tongue work and eye seems to work as well.  I also have an idea about the order to do things in now.

Looks great man!  I love these colors specifically, gives off an old school skate deck feel.

Nice, love how the v2 is turning out.
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

Some better pictures of the Dolly v2 I received today  :thumb:

Amazing work by Nubbinator! The detail in the v2 is incredible, I really like the sides/bottom of the cap. It's not uniform but actually has a sculpted edge!

Oh and here's a pic of the stem for people who haven't seen it yet :)

That's a real nice trio of colors.  :thumb:

As single caps I like the multi-shots better, but these coordinate amongst each other really well.

Definitely noticed it too. I dig the caps that are "fully sculpted" >  caps with the squared off base

Definitely a unique addition to the cap  :thumb: I can't think of another cap with the same effect.

Took some pictures to compare the v1 & v2 Dollies, I couldn't get the face of both of them focused at the same time though...

The v1 was no slouch but it's amazing to see the improvements.

Oh and the things they're on are magnets made out of cherry my stems I believe, and they were made by Nubbinator too!

Big thanks to ghostjuggernaut for these caps. I owe you man <3

My favorite color from the most recent Dolly v2 sale, Plumsicle:

126132-0

126134-1

Two buckling spring Dollys (not sure of the colors, someone please enlighten me):

126136-2

And an MX Dolly in a similar colorway to one of the BS caps (looks like it would go so well with Calm Depths...):

126138-3

Every now and then I have color combos that are hard for me to sell, Plumsicle was one of them from that sale.  Glad it found a home that loves it!

The BS caps didn't have a name that I remember giving.  I seem to remember including them as freebies/extras since the stem is still very much a prototype.  The MX was cast alongside the BS.  I either had a temp or a ratio problem with them that gave them a different color than intended, but I like to share my mistakes instead of hiding them.

Oh then I suppose means they are pretty unique :3

I actually REALLY like how there is a fleck of lighter plastic in the MX cap (no pressure... but if you had to give this a name now, what would it be?  :p

Had that thing been MX I wouldve totally bought it. At the time I had a BroSet and the purple/neon green wouldve went will with it

You had told me the blue didn't cure properly due to the cold weather you were having at the time.

Isn't that the first nub?

I thought the first one was more orange in color. I sent Nub a message on reddit I think 2 years ago and he made me this one. So it could be the second or third?

Oh god, I forgot about that monstrosity.  I think there were 2 or 3 total.  The first was black.

Is the mold still in good shape?
