Today we announce on Geekhack the group buy for the Marboard (1). We made this keyboard because we wanted a premium, handmade, non-mass produced product that was truly unique, and stone seemed to be a good place to start.
Thus was the concept for the Marboard (1) born: A fully marble, handmade 60% case available in Carrara (White) and Nero Marquina (Black) variants. It has an EKH of 30mm, a typing angle of 5 degrees, and a weight of 2.5kg.
The Marboard (1) allows for Gummy O-Ring gasket mounting and tray mounting via removable standoffs.
After posting the ICs we have decided we are going to have a MOQ of 10 and a soft cap of 20.
The GB started on the 1st of May, and will last until June 15th. We hope to ship within two months. It is priced at £300 + Shipping, which will be about £30 depending on where you live.
