Loving my R1 kit, glad to see cool kids back again so soon! Definitely in for the colorful kit, and maybe some more. ePBT is excellent quality as well!  :thumb:

A great shame! This is the reason I didn't hop onto the 1st GB, would be nice to  see some changes to this on the second run (quietly keeping my fingers crossed).

- R4 Backslash-Pipe
- R3 Quote-@
- R3 Hash-Tilde

And then add:
- R3 Backslash-Pipe

That would yield a much more consistent layout and saves you two keys.  Alternatively you can go for full UK, which would drop one of your current keys (R4 <>) and add three UK keys to the number row.  Either way is a good path, but you're weirdly halfway between them at the moment.

+1 for 1 extra 3U bar. there are a few board/pcb in development with double 3u spacebars including the Type-K, sst60, plexus75, etc. 3U has the advantage of symmetry and stability (3u bars use 3u stabs, 2.75u use 2u stabs - not as stable)

Definitely in for the colorful smileys kit to add onto my round 1. My Rubbers kit's white spacebars were scuffed and unusable in R1 (dealt with vendor), so hoping thats fixed. The crooked B to the kit for alice compat is a nice addition! Might have to pick it up XD

Great set, didn't hop on round one and probably won't here, but if you ever make an SA version I'll be there! Such a fun idea.

As an aside, curious what about this thread is defined as an IC? It's fully planned and kitted, vendors are determined, renders are done, dates are set, pricing is set.

Is this just a pre GB post? What's the point? It's just an ad at that point.

Not trying to be hateful, it's a genuine question. From my understanding, this was the kind of thing discussed by geekhack staff as something they weren't allowing anymore. A bit of a meta topic.

Wanna know something I just realized about this set?

It’s sort of inspired by the designer label “coolkidsnyc”. I had no darn idea. I thought it was a challenge to Biip to make the most “ridiculous” keycap set they could imagine.

Maybe it was both?
