As a relative newcomer to the keyboard/keycap collecting scene, I find this sort of thread hilarious!

Every community goes through this sort of strife, it's amazing to me to see how similar these discussions are to ones I participated in back when I helped organize science-fiction conventions.

About Dangwang, it's always sad to see someone leave the community. I'm glad he's selling some of his stuff. It's better to keep the good items circulating in the community where people will use them, rather than letting them collect dust, unwanted.

I don't know how someone can become so invested in a hobby and then just give it all up and sell most of the things you've acquired, loosing passion in a hobby your properly invested in usually happens over time and dsnt usually result in on big sale.

Looks more like he is cashing out than anything else, if he actually cared about either community or members within said communities it seems unlikely he's be holding essentially a private auction for everything.

I'd probably be a little annoyed if I was anything to do with making clacks

Right, but if he really cared as much as he made out to wouldn't he rather set up give aways or donate them to people he deemed worthy? I duknow, it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth when people with access to things most people will never even get to see set up private auctions to sell them off, regardless of what it is.

(For the record I'm not salty or anything as I don't actually want any of the things he's selling
