147€ base kit vs 135$ ... that's like 163$

I don't get the price difference when it's generally about 1:1 (which already isn't that great for EU), and no alice in base at that price.
Saw a similar issue for Gmk Indigo where the EU pricing was significantly more expensive, hopefully this isn't a trend for all future GMK sets.

Hibi is pretty.

Because Euro currency is losing value, it's an ongoing issue. This won't be the last time you see this kind of price in Eu.

True. Current rate is 1.09 USD for 1 EUR, meaning that the price ends up being 124 EUR NET. To gross, add the Belgian VAT with 21%, which brings us to 150,04 EUR. You are actually getting a deal, Cookie. /Johannes

Hey all! Unfortunately, I was out of the country for a while at the beginning of the GB, but I'm back. I'm currently updating the inconsistent renders to show the icon mods correctly, and have added the Hibi to the post. I have numbers, but I need a couple vendors to update so that the numbers reflect how the GB is actually doing. I'm really sorry about the delays, I'll make sure that those renders are up today!

this topic has been beaten to death and it baffles me how many Europeans still don't get it. the European price is 121.49 EUR, PLUS VAT. the rest of the number you are seeing on your screen is sales tax levied by your governments.

belgium, where keyboard.eu is based, has a 21% sales tax rate. if americans had to pay the same 21% sales tax, we would be paying $163 and change. so, enlighten me, where is the difference?

the prices in Europe are about the same or sometimes actually a little lower BEFORE sales taxes are applied. i ordered some of my sets from prototypist and keyboard.eu because the untaxed price was actually cheaper even after i factored in international shipping to the US. this has always been the trend and will continue to always be the trend.

as a US customer, it's about $14 USD cheaper for me to buy this set from the EU and have it express air mailed to NY, and that's without US sales tax. if i was getting taxed, it would be even more. it will get here faster too. i know it's because exchange rates and blah blah blah. still funny. guess i'm buying using a european vendor. again.
