Thanks for the links, bro!  I'm going to keep an eye on those; they are a great backup, I'd still like to pick up something used a bit cheaper.

Just want to point out that xwhatsit is a controller, not a converter.  It replaces the extisting controller, not in addition to.  But you are correct that it does not work on the XT, but is needed for the xtant.
