There will be a GB post on GH. After we fully test our (second) prototype.

I agree. Generally, we update details both here and Discord channel. Usually, we update discord first to get immediate feedback and some less important pics. We will launch this GB first on our channel because we wanna have a test run first in case we miss anything.

Layout would work, and it would probably fit (I used one on my m65-a and only had to shave 1mm off the pcb in 2 spots), but I’m not sure the smk board has an JST-PH option. If it does it will most likely work.

Sorry to hear that you had that bad experience with another maker. I am not sure what happened there so I cannot comment.

Discord is a great channel for quick updates and fun things (e.g., ALF's daily activities) GH doesn't care about. That said, we will initiate a GB post on GH after Discord launch, as 80ultraman has said. I hope that is not a violation of the terms of use for GH.

The GB will include a PCB. It is not certain whether other PCBs will fit at all, because there are no standardized PCBs in 65% (even if there is, most makers don't follow the standards). Maybe 80Ultraman can chime in on this.

Will check with 80ultraman if he can make the PCB backlighting compatible.

Uodate: 80ulteaman said we can have a pcb with in-switch LED options if enough people join this GB (factory machine solders with a MOQ).

Just talked 80ULTRAMAN into offering RGB PCB option at a very small cost (~$10).

Default PCB (without RGB LEDs) compatible with split/iso will still be offered.

Is the split space layout still TBD? If so what would be your thoughts on a 2.75/2.25/1.25 split? I personally think the best and most comfortable splits would have the two large keys split down or near the middle of the G and H keys. Plus this way there would be 3 1.25u keys on each side of the 'spacebars'.

I don't know about that... it looks literally identical to the maxkeys WoB caps. Maybe the person who owns them forgot where he got them.
You can even tell SP from maxkeys just by looking. Maxkeys has a more dry, matte look, whereas SP is more glossy. These def look matte.

That DT key is what gives it away.  And it definitely has the same finish as the rest. That's a deskthority key, and Maxkeys doesn't have that.
