[GB] Cases and Plates for Shark 40 PCB
« on: Fri, 26 April 2019, 23:08:52 »
Now that the PCB group buy has ended, it is time for us to focus on the cases. These became available a couple weeks after the PCB, so that would explain the delay.

This GB will run until the end of June.

To those who have already purchased, thank you.

REAL WORLD PICTURES

Switch Plates:
  • Designed to be used with either "The Short One" or "The Tall One" aluminum cases.
6061 Aluminum, CNC smooth surface, anodized in Gray, Black, Purple or Cyan.
Short One plate will fit other 19mm 40% ortho cases not sold by Shark.

The Short One Aluminum Case:
  • Attractive design that allows the switch plate to sit flush with the top surface of the case. Unique mounting design that utilizes all holes of the PCB/switch plate(10). This adds a great deal of rigidity.
    Will come with M2 screws(10).
The Tall One Aluminum Case:
  • Weighs about 2 pounds.
Switch plate recessed into the case.
Same mounting system as The Short One case.
Available in Gray, Black, Purple and Cyan.
    Will come with M2 screws(10).

Cost:
  • The Short One Aluminum Case - $60
The Tall One Aluminum Case - $100
Aluminum Switch Plate - $15 (Tall and Short Plates)
Shipping is based on weight and will increase when multiple products ordered.

I didn't buy the Kotai case because the planck PCB line was too long.

Let's do this.

Thanks for your order!

We will be offering two aluminum case options in the near future, both subject to a similar 100 minimum order GB. The first one we're calling our Short case, which will have the switch plate mounted flush with the top of the case.

Follow me in IG for renders of that, the other case and general updates.

Are standoffs and screws included in the basic kit, or do we have to source them ourselves?

They are included, I'll make that clear in the OP. Thanks!
