Hey, geekhack!
I've been lurking around for a little while, and this looked like a cool place, so here I am.
I've got a Das Keyboard Ultimate with blue switches as my main typing tool (the other one is my ThinkPad's keyboard), and I have achieved around 80 wpm in my native language (hungarian) and 70 wpm in english, mainly because of the immense time spent playing Typing of the Dead.
Recently I've become fed up with the way my fingers jump around in QWERTZ, so after some research I plan to switch to Colemak. I've considered Dvorak as well, but the prior seems to have less problems. Am I choosing right?
I am also planning to invest in an ErgoDox, but I don't know whether I want to be in the group buy currently held at Massdrop. Some say that it is worth the wait for a better deal with more customizability. The other concern is my lack of ability to solder, but I hope I can get some experience on the rubber dome boards laying around the house.
I'm happy to be a part of this community, I'm glad that I found a place to go to with my typing addiction.
