Tech book from Japan
« on: Wed, 23 January 2019, 02:03:05 »
Hello

I saw sometimes in tweets, tech books related to keyboard. https://twitter.com/yushakobo/status/1087926515201990657

Links to products:

But I am wondering:
- What you can find inside?
- Are they sometimes translated?
- Do other non-japanese people write similar books?

I would love to read the book from Foostan  :-[

Contents of Foostan's book can be found here: https://fstn.hateblo.jp/entry/2018/10/03/000307
There are 8 chapters consisting of:
  • Basic knowledge of DIY keyboards
  • Designs of original keyboards
  • PCB design
  • Extending existing PCBs
  • Plate design
  • Ordering your parts
  • Assembly
  • Firmware maintenance
I highly doubt they're translated, but you can ask for more info in the Japanese keyboard discord

My browser automatically did a rough translation when I opened it. So it is possible to get a form of translation.
