I do hope you get a little further with this project. It seems like you had an idea and rendered it a bit, but have not done any CAD so far.

Would like to see more different layout options for the spacebar row, especially a split spacebar like the GK68X that Epomaker made (couldn't think of another example).
I'll probably get flamed for this but 7u spacebars are pretty unconventional in my opinion.
