ES doubleshot are pretty uncommon, along with platemount and clears... I would put it more towards $175. But then again if I were you I would enjoy using it and not go looking to sell it.

Lately G80-1800s have been catching my eye. How much would a WKL ISO or ANSI G80-1800 be?

Market price on 'like new' standard 1800 models with beige doubleshots and more common layout like US or DE is in the $100-150 range lately.

The nice things about G80-1800's is that they have been used by many companies. And some varieties can be found cheaper, especially in Germany. Take a look at the Deskthority Wiki
Some come as low as €60 for new ones. Regular pricing is around €80-100

Hmm yes I can get new ones from ebay for about 60€, just the WKL ones seem rare... Of course with a Leeku that wouldn't be that much of an issue.

With a leeku why do you need an original 1800? You can just get a G81-1800 case for really cheap and put the leeku in that

My NORTHGATE COMPUTER SYSTEMS OmniKey 102. I think it's in pretty good condition, my grandfather picked it up new in the '80s and didn't touch it but to move it between houses till he gave it to me in 2007. I have lightly used it, but have set it to the side for fear of marring it in some way. I hope all the pictures included are enough for a valuation. If you have any more questions, let me know.

Not sure if I'm willing to sell it, but I thought it'd be fun to see what it would be worth to someone.

White or Blue Alps?  Probably Complicated Whites, but the switch type will affect the cost.

From all the documentation I can find, I would guess it has whites. I don't really have the tools necessary to take off the key caps and check, but it seems whites are what are documented for this particular model number.

HBD, not HDD. HBD is the early version of 2100, which come with a Cherry logo cap in top row. Since it's a really rare variant, I'd say....€200 plus. Good luck on finding one but you shouldn't give much hope.

My friend wants to know what he can sell his Chromebook for. I tried to find some eBay/Craigslist listings for an idea but couldn't It's the silver Series 3 Samsung one. Screen is broken, but a new one is only $50 to replace and it's a breeze to replace. It's got a piece chipped off on the plastic, but doesn't effect usage on the computer. What do you guys think?

As an experiment, I picked up a CM Storm QFR with blue switches and replaced them all with stock whites.
It's way too heavy for me so I'm debating just selling it.

Is $210 a fair price for this?  That's basically the price of the board and switches, sans shipping.
Granted, it's technically a used keyboard.

Thanks

At least $150, maybe $200 from the right buyer.

I think you'll have a hard time recouping your costs on this one.  A QFR with Blues goes for what, $75?  Even adding in some premium for MX White switches, I'd think a fair price would be $100-$125 including shipping.

My reasoning is that your potential buyers would be comparing equivalent MX White keyboards, and although keyboards with that switch are uncommon, they're not super rare.  (Plus, it's been my experience that people prefer Clears to MX Whites, which I find odd...)

Was typing up a similar response.

What I don't understand is people want to take the price of the board plus switch price, but you need to subtract the price of the original switches as well unless they are also included.

The original switches could be included in the package deal, but since it wasn't specified I assumed not.  And even then, what's the going rate on used MX Blue switches?  $0.25 each, in good condition?  Not a highly desirable switch, IMnotsoHO.

Even so...I was actually looking at TKL boards and here's what I got

Used but good QFR: 65-80
100 White switches: 50

Soldering + Desoldering: 0

I love soldering and it's a JOY to me.  BUT even If I got paid at my salary to desolder, 1-2 hours for a board still won't make up the extra 100 (I make a modest amount.  50 an hour, NO)

This doesn't take into account depreciation, buyer risk, and the uncertainty that comes with your solder job (we have no way of knowing if you're good or not)

I'd value your board at 100 ish, probably less.  That's just me.  If it was lubed and spring swapped you could probably charge more for labor and finders/sourcing fee.

Hi guys, I hope this is the appropriate place to post this. I'm thinking of selling my KBT Race 75% w/ "Milk" (White Cherry MX I suppose?) switches.

- I am the 2nd owner and I purchased this around the end of last year from the previous owner. I'm not sure how long he owned it but he said he had purchased it from Elite ESports Gaming Equipment.

- There is an issue with the K switch. It is detailed here: http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=52167.msg1318808#msg1318808

- I haven't tried to bend it back too much since I'm not experienced with these things. It's my first mech keyboard and I would rather not break it.

I'd like to get some Cherry POM keycaps, I suppose they're all thick. Lettering doesn't matter to me at all. Also, I'm interested only in 1x keycaps, maybe some modifiers or 2x keycaps, not a full set. What should I expect to pay?

Wondering on a price for a bolt modded Lexmark M with a brand new barrel plate.  Would there possibly be an interest in it if I backlit it using el mat.  Would not use the wire.

Haha you can almost buy a whole Raptor board for that. I think they are worth no more than $4/ea.

In Germany, yes. ;)
But I can imagine some people on the other side of the world for whom the shipping makes that not an option.
But they seem to be anywhere between $4-6 per cap, so thanks. :)

I think tinlong sold 14 of them for that $45 so that comes to ~$3.21 each.
