Scarface set, realistic buyable price for realistic daily use.

Someone said it was available for $400, but how many keycaps would that be? Is the condition sufficient for daily use?


I've never seen any price less than $600 and I think that was a 37 key, 2 years ago. Can't really remember.

Am interested in aluminium or titanium keycaps now that I've constructed my last keyboard. Zinc blanks...maybe, if the price is good (not so keen).

The one I am interested in is not in the aftermarket yet. I hesitate to pull the trigger on the Orion v2. It is just that if I do so and I don't like it, I don't want to end up with a $500 board being unused in a locker room. So I guess you can always resell them afterwards considering they are in good condition.

I would say so. You should be able to spruce one up nicely and sell the other to recoup at least half of your cost.

Do you have pictures, it may be fixable. Also leave WTB stuff in the classifieds.

You need 25 posts and an account that is 2 months old in order to have a classifieds add. The controller on the pcb looks fine, the only contacts that look bad are the five on the usb. If you have a soldering iron I'd recommend reflowing them and seeing if it works. There are people on here who know a lot more about this than I do so someone else may spot an issue. You could try posting the PCB pics in the keyboard sub forum and asking for help.

Short backstory: I got a keyboard from my company and made a thread about it and then infinity cleaned, retr0brighted, and tested it. I want to sell it but I don't know how much it's worth.

TL;DR: Price check for G80-11802LPAJA with JP layout that has been restored and tested (everything works)
