lap/hip mounted split keyboard?

Do such thing exist? For say, to be used with oculus rift or google glasses?

I wonder if you could create some sort of modified keyboard stand the could be shaped to your legs so it is stable on your legs.

Or you could have something like the ballpark vendors use so you can stand and type.

Ok, a better option might be a cigarette tray for standing and typing.  With keyboards rather than cigarettes in the tray!

Excellent serving suggestion.

However, if you can't get all of the ingredients, you could try a kinesis advantage.  It has a habit of leaning back if you use it on your lap, but you could rig a tray and attach it to the base of the keyboards by inserting dowelling into the screw wells (or whatever they are called).  There used to be pictures of this on GH, but I doubt they've survived.
