6'1 here.

i have noticed that at around 6'3+ some sort of spacial stretching **** occurs

me standing next to someone 6'2-3 = look them in the eyes normally, does not feel weird.
6'4 = break my neck looking up, they are clearly a foot taller than me when we stand side by side, they only shrink when measured.

We did get to the moon first, you may remember. And we have units of mass ... look up the slug. It applies about 32.2 lbs of force in 1g.

(back onto this off-topic discussion, I'm 5'5.5" I don't even think I'm short.)

USSR. 1959.

It seems your custom text is correct once again, my apologies.  Though the USSR did technically crash an unmanned craft into the moon, versus a full-fledged moon landing and return (unless my brief googling has led me astray).  But yes, USSR did get to the moon first.  Interesting.  I learned something today!

I'm only about 6'1", but I could have used business cards like that when I was growing up.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I'm only about 6'1", but I could have used business cards like that when I was growing up.

i can't read inc i think you arround 190cm ;D

No, only around 182cm.  But cards LIKE that, with my height on them.  I seemed to reach 6' at school before anyone else did.

Hoff what's your wingspan? I've heard that the taller you are the more likely it is that you have a positive ape index. The average is 0, I'm a 4 (my wingspan is 4in more than my height)

People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done

I've never bothered to measure this, so I'll have to get back to you.  :P

Apparently a normally proportioned body from wing tip to wing tip, er I mean finger tip to finger tip with the wings outstretched is the same as your height.

I have long legs & arms and a shorter torso, so I'm more ape.

not like 4" though that's crazy

It's pretty useful for climbing
