I've always wondered how do you put that plastic case part onto the end of the usb? The housing for the plug, not the heat shrink. It looks fused on. Is that part done by hand?

They snap fit and get hot glued in. I use hot glue on the connections too (inside the housing), to stop shorting

Right, I need feedback. I'm getting some crimps and terminals for Filco replacement cables, I've managed to get them at a much cheaper price too and will run about 20GBP fully assembled, does that sound reasonable? Who'd be interested in them and who'd be interested in other branded board cables?

pexon, those MDPC sleevings are gorgeous!

have some questions in mind though, i saw that some of the sleevings are loose and some are tight, care to explain why? And also, the heatshrinks, i saw that there are cables which you have done in 2 layer shrinking (they looked classy!!!!) instead of one, will that incur more cost?

That will most liekyl be the fact that ssome cables are thicker than others, not the fact that the sleeving is on there loose, I always pull it super tight, double shrink wont cost you extra either

When you do double shrink, can you see the first layer through the top layer?

No, but you have a bigger base layer and a smaller top layer, if you understand. I can do clear shrink over the top of any shrink base layer too.

tight sleeving is always good!!!
double shrink wont cost extra is a plus definitely!! it allows more color combination and styles!

No problem! Gold connections coming tomorrow so I can crack on with any new order and Filco crimps and terminals should be here next week! No additional charge for double shrink because I double shrink anyway! If you want 2 colours its not an issue, I always double shrink to ensure the sleeving is on there rock solid!

All current orders have been shipped so UK peeps should get theirs tomorrow, Aus dudes and Singapore dudes will there mid next week!

OP updated, new order forms, REMEMBER, I never close, I am always taking orders for ANY cable, no long waits all my terminals and cables are in stock..

I'm also ordering some new MDPC sleeving this coming week, so let me know what you are after. I will be getting black, colourx, vanilla sands, toxic green. any additional colours welcome.

I have some new sleeving samples coming next week to, with some new colours and a denser weave that is meant to better than MDPC. We'll see!
