For welding I will be using chloroform, and for joining the switch bottom, I have tried cyanoacrylate glue, and a drop on each side of the switch works well enough. I will however also try chloroform and see how that works.

When I signed up again for the second time, I screwed up and had to go edit my order. I accidentally unchecked one of the options and when I went back to edit it back, it was already selected.

The square cutout is the size of a switch so you can look at a keyboard switch and it's a little bigger than that.

They both look good to me. I tend to prefer the transparent acrylics, but would be quite happy with either.

Dustplugs have not arrived. It is Diwali this weekend, so a little busy with that.
I've finished about half of the keychains, however I don't think i'll be able to get through more this weekend, I will send out ALL orders at the end of this month with or without dustplugs depending on whether they reach me or not.
Sorry for the delay, there have been lots of real life issues I have ha do handle, and now exams approaching soon, I will be getting busy with them.

I'll try and maybe peek once or twice when I take a break :D Till then here are the projects I am involved in, and how I will proceed with them:
1. GH Keychains: Since my last update, I have not finished any more keychains, once my exams are over, I will finish them and send them out as fast as possible, hopefully in 3-5 days after my exams. I have not received the dustplugs and don't expect them to show up anymore, I would place an order, but then they won't reach me in time before my vacation, so yeah, they won't be there in the package, sorry :(

But in all seriousness, I'm leaving the States on the 15th and won't be back until the 5th of January, and I'm not sure if the university will hold my package from you for that long over break, would it be easier and quicker to ship mine to Hong Kong? (assuming it'll reach HK before my return to the States.) I will ask my university about receiving packages over break and try to get back to you ASAP.

If you really want one I would start there. I have been tying these off and off for a couple years now. One of my supervisors in the Navy taught me.

For me personally it always cost more and I never end up with what I wanted to begin with when I attempt a DIY project.

Just a word of advice for anyone looking to run GBs in the future, it isn't as easy as it seems, I underestimated the workload by many magnitudes, the level of patience required and ability to do repetitive work without questioning the very reason for your existence on this planet is hard.

I didn't want to hold onto packages, so I shipped what I could and when I could. This meant although some people had asked to get their keychain/stickers shipped together to save some money, I still shipped/will ship them separately so people can get things faster.
I received a package from Moz the other day (at my parent's house) that contains "Key caps" so my guess is that it was a separate package.

i thought about filling the engraving when i took those photos today actually. all it needs is a little acrylic paint. paint, wipe the excess off then let dry. a nice clear on top would be great too. the acrylic has a rougher surface that should take the acrylic really well.

Rub the crayon onto the engravement to fill the area. Then wipe clean with a tissue.
