I think it's pretty safe to say 2017 is the case man. Most likely Ground control, Dasher/Dancer, and Nantucket are all in line well before penumbra V2- and I'm probably missing 1 or 2. Troubled Minds is eta March, so we can assume April or May is more realistic. I'd be really hard to convince penumbra 2 will be here in the coming year

I've been holding out to buy a Penumbra set for 9 months now, having to wait another 13+ months is a bit disappointing

Retroblight, greenscreen and dusk also. Classic space, although that has to deal with custom legends too. Then there's earfbound, rebel and yuri being developed, all with SA being a major option.

about 250 received round 1

about 10 didnt

of those 10, about 5 have opted for a free round 2 set

we have a huge box of mismatched keys to sort in to sets, someone volunteered to take that off codys hands and go round and do it, im not sure what happened with that

r2 got delayed as we were waiting on the fixed shifts and a few other reasons i listed above somewhere and itll be sorted soon

ill make sure everyone gets there set sorted asap

ill have it sorted for you, the sets exist, all jumbled up in a box, its a horrible task to do, its far worse than just sorted sets that are put in to individual keys, you are talking about trying to make sets out of a box with maybe 8k keys in or something like that and whilst it is a job that needs doing, its one that takes a lot of time per order, when that time could be spending sorting out 15 + other orders, we have just cleared a ton of recent stuff with only 30% of one buy left to do, thatll be complete soon and our full attention will go to fixing the legacy issues that were passed on to us from raccoon

its really just about allotting some time to it, we had a ton of stuff to clear, and it has just been about prioritising things in such a way that we deal with as many orders as possible per hour

between me and cody, we shipped over 400 packages in the last 3 days, so we should be lighting up the mail thread soon

everything is now clear apart form between 150 - 200 hyperfuse orders, thatll be done and dusted very soon and we will then concentrate on these loose ends

i spent 4 hours in the post office on wednesday, and about 2 hours in there this morning, on wednesday, i couldnt see out of any windows in the car as i had the boot, backseat and passenger seat all loaded from bottom to ceiling

it was ridiculous

but very satisfying to get that much out

i know not what people who have been waiting ages wanna hear about other things, but we are getting stuff clear so we can concentrate on this stuff

I never knew why some of our penumbra orders were on hold for so long, I had thought it was the cable holding everything up, but this makes more sense.  Thanks for the update bunny.  Also sending that many packages indeed feels amazing.

Yes, there's a pretty decent SA train going right now so Penumbra R2 will just need to jump on at some point and ride it out.  While avoiding the list of SA sets, there are a number that are in various stages of successful group buys with several more in the IC phase and trying to figure out when they should go.  At some point it just becomes drawing a line in the sand and going for a certain date.

For those that are still waiting, let me tell you -- it's worth the wait and I hope your wait is over soon.

This is still the set that i use for my daily driver. My only regret with the set is that scoops for the Solarized Alphas didn't get made. Otherwise it's been a fantastic set.  That being said, I'd jump on a R2 set if it was sculpted just to be able to compare the two properly.
