So I'm looking for comments on the keyboard I'm designing. The layout is already set because I'm rebuilding from a previous design and I'm looking to move from a 3d printed case to a CNC machined one, and my CNC router isn't big enough to build the old design which had a single case shell and lots of awkward compound angles.
I'm looking to make one vaguely based off the Microsoft natural 4000. As I like the split and angled design.
https://imgur.com/a/wNukRLIThe controller will be housed in the block beneath the main two boards, the numpad/arrow block will have it's own controller, and be detachable. I still need to design a wrist rest...
The two halves or the main board are bolted to the central column, I'm a little concerned about how that's going to work from a balance and sound/feel point of view, so I'm wondering if I might need to make a bracket to support them.
