Yes, due to a couple of factors, the ultimate became pretty scarce in many markets. You should see ultimate's find their way back into etail/retail shops globally in the near future.

Any more news on this?  Really looking for an Ultimate Brown but can't find one anywhere.

I found my ultimate on NCIX but it become a huge ordeal (first board arrived broken from shipping damage and the second board broke the usb connection so I dropped it into my old QFP...now I am trying to find a usb connection for my QFP and lame CM wouldn't help me at all).

The only reason I wanted the ultimate was because it had the full backlighting, unlike the QFP/QFR. But now you can just buy a Corsair K70 RGB and choose any backlight color or effect you want, so CM has become obsolete (not to mention their customer service is about as good as Creatives, if you get my drift).
