[IC]TKL Keyboard cases Proxy
« on: Mon, 30 June 2014, 18:34:07 »
Just gauging interest in doing a group buy for these cases out of korea.

If we purchase more than one, we can get them shipped out of korea for $5.32 (not including averaging out the first case $13), and shipping after that shouldn't be more than $5. Its too big to fit in a small flat rate box or a flat rate padded envelope, but via first class with just a big padded envelope should be fine. If the case can't survive first class, its probally not a good case. Also if we buy more, we could ask the seller to reduce the price more.

I don't think its worth trying to start a groupbuy to save $3-4 if even that.  Assuming you're buying them all from this person for that price already.

I'm contacting the seller to see if they will do price reductions.

Thanks for doing this.  Never considered getting cases before but this seems quite cheap and protects every kind of TKL currently produced  :thumb: .

Seller won't do discounts, and won't do shipping discount either. If you go over 4, it gets too heavy, and it needs to be shipped in separate boxes. So buying 4 is the best price, at which it costs $29.91, or $7.50 per person. Add on more shipping, and its pretty much $2 less than regular price.

I have one of these as well. They are fairly sturdy cases. Perhaps a bit high, which makes them take up a lot of room in a bag. I'll try to take some pictures on Thursday.

As a kbt Race owner, I love to have one of this bag.
But looks like we can't get much discount, plus another shipping cost to me? :(

Awesome, that makes 4.

Canadian shipping would kill the savings for you. It would be cheaper for you to order one yourself.

Wait a second, I don't think it would be cheaper for me either - It's highly likely that shipping to Denmark is even more expensive than to Canada.

Edit: I'm not in.

Are you guys even reading the posts?  We already did the math and it saves a couple dollars at most even if youre in the US.  Not worth the time or effort.
