I want to make it clear before invoices go out, especially to newcomers:
You may not receive ALL of keys that you put down on the order form. Last sale I got quite a few people wondering why they only won a single key when they had wanted two, but let me explain. This is the way I'm doing things regarding RNG going forward:
- For very large sales (max 4+ keys) , all order info is processed and you have the random chance to win keys one at a time, up to your max. Basically, every key choice you pick puts you in the pool to win one of those keys. It is extremely fair, and when there are insane amounts of people wanting a lot of keys, it's the best way, IMO, to do RNG.
- For smaller sales (usually max 1-3 keys), winners names are drawn randomly, and when drawn they receive what they asked for in their order. This is fair for smaller sales and much less of a headache for me. The exception to this rule is if I run out of stock of a certain color, you will receive what I do have (based on your order) if your name is drawn. I do this for sales that have pretty limited stock, like the previous Valentine's Day Apocalypse and the current Mayhem's Day Pub Party sales. If you get only one key out of the 3 you asked for, it's probably because everyone else asked for the other two colors as well.
- Sometimes I'll do FCFS sales if I feel like it, and it works the same way as above.
