Frankly, at this point there aren't a lot of artisan caps I would regularly use. But I'm always down to throw some GirlDC on there. Really nice caps man!

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

some of mine, not as kewl as some people though :-[

Where'd you get that case? I've outgrown mine.

it came from taobao (back when i thought i would become a gr8 collector), but the seller doesn't carry them anymore. i think they were just called keycap boxes, so if you figure out the translation and search around, i'm sure you'll find some. i remember there being 5x5, 10x10, and then some super-sized box. just me wary that they may not include all of the dividers (might've been a proxy mistake though).

Thanks for the info, I'll check some local places. I want two boxes, one for most of my artisans and then a "special" one for my KBKs.
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done

Here is one I ordered a few days ago. Total came to around $22 IIRC.

I think I want one, so if enough people want them, grouping the shipment might be cheaper for everyone.

I would be in for one. Maybe we should move this to an official IC thread since there seems to be a noticeable amount of interest.

Realforce EK45 (Silenced)  |  Realforce 87UW (45g)  |  Realforce 87UWS (Variable)
Filco MJ2 TKL (Cherry Clears)  |  Phantom 87 (78g Gateron Clears)  |  Phantom 86 (67g Zealios)
