it looks alrite, i never liked the very round edges.. but, they have to appeal to the females, and so they can't make it anymore angular than it is.

did they say the whole inside structure is stainless steel ? or just the bezel part..
They must be extremely confident in the thermal output of their a11 chip if that whole center block is stainless steel.
aluminum is much much better at heat conduction.

The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus have the same CPU and GPU as the iPhone X. The extra screen resolution (which is measured in PPI, not pixels) of the iPhone X is unnecessary IMHO unless you put the screen right up to your face like a retard, which means that it will only waste more cycles.
This means that games and other GPU-heavy apps could have a slight edge on the iPhone 8 followed by the 8 Plus.
And OLED screens, while being more vibrant when new, fade over time in ways that LCD screens don't.

Most people who get the X will upgrade next year anyway, so I'm not sure that matters too much.

(That reminds me of when FFX came out and some of my mates who never played FF, but got it because PS2 was newish, kept calling it "Final Fantasy Ecks.")

I think I will wait and see the reviews on it, if people love it or hate it, that will determine if Apple continues down the path of no home button phones. While I am all for bleeding edge, I think I will let someone else shell out the 999$

I used to think having no home button was a dumb thing, but I've had my Note8 for a week now and I love it. It let's you customize the navigation bar a bit, and it changes depending on what apps you are using. (For instance, for games it might be replaced with auto-ignore or record buttons).
But I've had a no-home button for only a week so we'll see how it fares in the long run.
