Mac Modifiers for LED pure?
« on: Tue, 02 July 2013, 08:30:35 »
Kinda new to all this, learning fast, but haven't really found anything that fits what I'm looking for.

Can anyone help me find mac modifier keys that would match the stock keyset on a pure with led's lit?  I understand font's might be a little off, but if it was just symbols, it wouldn't matter much.

Thanks in advance guys!

I don't think a Mac modifier kit exists, I might be wrong though. However, you should check this thread out: http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=44482.0
An alternative could be blank keycaps.

Das Keyboards used to sell a set, but it doesn't appear on their web site anymore. Another option would be to get a custom key from WASDKeyboards.com

thanks.  I had seen both those options, I really had hoped to track down something backlight capable.

You'll be lucky enough to find a set of Mac modifiers, never mind backlight-friendly ones.

I have not seen any, and Mac-specific keys are few and far between anyway.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
