21" 1080p hdmi monitor $140

It looks like newegg.com has a short-term sale on this monitor.  I jumped on it yesterday, seems like a pretty good deal for the money.  Expires Oct 3.  There is a $16 electronic recycling fee that they charge you though.

Just as some people are happy with rubber-dome keyboards.

I actually had the TN monitors at work cause me madness recently... the color shift made me think that two graphics were different when they were the same.  Love that PVA at home.

I'm also happy with the rubber dome keyboard I'm using right now. It's 21 years old and works better than most new ones.
