So important
« on: Mon, 10 April 2017, 09:59:54 »
Hi !

I'm an EE and software engineer...
And the computer is my de facto tool..

As for anyone else regardless of his job since we manipulate the computer for everything..
And everyone know that the primary input interface with the computer is obviously the keyboard! (even if there is some works on the output side too eg. the dasKeyboard Q5)

But I can say with certitude that there are not so much touchtypist around me (including myself of course :-[) (actually 0, I don't know any touchtypist around me and probably around here and there too...)
This sounds ridiculous to me.. I work 10 hours a day with a tool that I don't really master!!

So I decided some times ago to learn touchtyping..

The first thing I did, was to switch to a mechanical keyboard (a CM Storm with MX Brown) :thumb:
Meantime I bought for testing purpose a $40 chinese MX Blue keyboard.
And recently a Topre Novatouch keyboard (not yet tested)..

My primary goal in that keyboard journey is to end up with a tailor-made keyboard that suits to me and that I will use for the rest of my life.  ;)

So hello to GH community !

Hello!

Good luck finding your end game keyboard. It may be a long journey...
