I've got 5 keys coming up.  Smiling jack was not one of them, but that guy is going to happen.

Awesome, 5 is a lot! Also it's been 1 year since you started your journey as an artisan keymaker :D (as per the first post ITT). Congrats Binge!

Sharing is caring as they say, and caring is mutual.  Tonight I'm going to play some vinyl and lay back with my fiancee.  We have less than two weeks until our wedding.  With a little luck I'll be back to my old tricks before you can say,

There's magic to the old time tradition and aged Scotch.  Bourbon can be exceptionally pure and high quality because of how it is made (fresh barrels every time), but I think that is a waste of wood.  Part of why they use fresh barrels is because re-charring took too much time and energy.  Also in the high period of Bourbon there was a ton of oak available in the united states.  They could easily make a barrel fresh and use it first char then age other whiskeys in the used barrels.  This is seen as somewhat of a premium.

I'm not so into the use of corn mash either... but whatever to each his/her own.

They are probably trading or have some really old keys.  I have not sold lion keyngs(or any other keys) in a few months now.
