That looks really nice with that camera, better than the previous photos taken, and makes me like that color combination even more.

Everyone wants a different color ;)  I just want to make sure I can predict the color's outcome.  More experiments to be had, more to be done.

Well good luck with your experiments, I imagine it's pretty hard to make good double shots.

Can we get a better shot of the two tone orange one?  Your new camera's awesome focus on the front row has reduced it to a blur but it looks to be the best of the bunch as the bottom jaw looks to be the second colour, and lions are orange!

All of the lions have a bottom jaw that's the 2nd color.  Some are just more transparent than others.

I have a question about the material possibilities. If you were to use copper powder or something, would you be able to oxidize it somehow to give the cap that green copper color?

I could but it'll do it on its own.

well the poker II is a perfectly fine keyboard, but there's supposed to be news about the III sometime in february, which isn't far at all. I'd wait it out if you already have a mech, if it's your first, definitely get the Poker II, it's a nice little keyboard. :D

As of now?  The keys are multiple shots of plastic.  My early early early stuff (first 2 months) had been painted.

I seriously can't wait until these go up for sale. This thread is amazing. The level of progression in terms of skill/technique from the beginning is impressive. BTW, the multi-colored caps. Are they painted or some sort of double/triple shot witchcraft?

As of now?  The keys are multiple shots of plastic.  My early early early stuff (first 2 months) had been painted.

I saw on Booper's thread that you recommend a pressure pot. How does one even achieve multi-pour/layering while under compression?

I always recommend a pressure pot!  They are the best for starting out.  It's not possible to pour multiple layers while an object is under pressure.  Making multi colored keys is not a fast/easy process.  I'd love to tell you about it in person if you're ever at an event or in the area.

I'd also be really interested to learn how that's done.
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done
