We don't have to do anything right? Just wait for the invoice?

Indeed, now we wait.

First a couple of days for the invoice which we'll pay within seconds (unless it's past bedtime...) then way longer for customs and the postman.  Then we curse customs for covering the package in crappy stickers and carefully remove them to admire the artwork before extracting the treasure within :thumb:

Synthulu is the keythulu but made on the synth. So it has a cleaner butt. It is not a skulthulu though.

Question:
will the package value be stated lower than it actually is?
I'd really like to avoid additional custom fees.

Whoa, got a little bit of sticker shock when I saw the invoice email, then checked the invoice and apparently I won two keys when I only got an email for one... neat! I guess general raffle winners didn't get emails? I had to dip out of the livestream about halfway through the "I want its".

I doubt that would be the case, I would assume he wouldn't stick his neck out to help save the money for you. Hed want the insurance in case it got lost, and you, the buyer, ask for a refund.

5 dollar value means 5 dollar insurance claim, while you ask for a full 40$ refund.

just my guess though

5 dollar value means 5 dollar insurance claim, while you ask for a full 40$ refund.

just my guess though

I'm only curious because some other artisan guys do that every time,
no need to even ask.

I don't expect $5, but 20 or so would be enough to keep it under the customs radar;
otherwise, $50 (that I've paid for keycap + shipping) will end up with roughly $30 fees on top.
Which sucks, if it comes to that, but oh well - EU people are used to it.

Furthermore, the overseas shipping prices are so bloated I'm not even sure the shipping fee (which is $16 in this case) includes any insurance;
there's tracking, probably, and that's it.
If it gets lost on the way (there's always some risk, and it happened to me before; some other artisans, though),
I sure wouldn't blame Binge and ask for a refund, because how would that be his fault?

In any case, I'd appreciate if Binge could address the matter.
Thanks.

It's a waiting game, then - which I'm very good at ..
up until the night before the delivery, when I can't sleep out of excitement
